I fell for the Get Schooled one this morning. >.<

Thankfully, I don't want University, so I went from being sad that it was confirmed to happy that witches are still a possibility.

I feel really bad for anyone who fell for it and is looking forward to University, though. Which I'm pretty sure is a lot people, judging by the comments.

Fake announcements on April Fool's should be funny... start off sounding legit before veering into clearly ridiculous territory. Laughing at someone for trusting you when you said something completely plausible just seems mean.

I'm sorta glad the Get Schoold one is fake (for now at least). I have the sims 2 university and my sim pretty much lost all friends bc of studing.

I would have loved if the Through the ages had been real though. Would have been so cool as I love history.

Wouldn’t it be funny if they actually announced something today?

I can only hope that (since people theorize that we're getting another pack in June) that next month they'll give us a real update

Aw, geez. Sorry to hear that. :(

We played one trick on our kids today--we got those "snakes in a can" (which were really just springs wrapped in colorful plastic) and put them in the mailbox. The older one likes to put the flag up and claim there's something in it when there isn't. So today when he tried to pull the same joke, there actually was something in there. He was amused.

He also found lots of other places to hide the snakes and get us back.

The prank failed. It wasn't funny. I really thought University would be next and it only made me mad. I was going to buy Strangerville this month but now I'm reconsidering. I don't like April Fool's jokes and this one was very cruel.
