I think people are getting confused on what the laundry list actually is. It doesn't mean suddenly all major bugs people want fixed are going to be fixed every month. It's just to give simmers a better insight because they always ask for more transparency. But if the laundry list makes people upset they might stop doing it altogether.
They acknowledge and are well aware of major bugs but have not found a fix yet or they would release it.
I seem to be in the minority here but I've never let bugs take away from my enjoyment of the game. Just yesterday I played for long hours and found away around any encountered bug and continued playing. I even had the stairs bug too and I did exactly as @Mstybl95 stated above. Stopped the auto fencing and deleted the fence in front of the stairs. My sims used it as normal.
Anyone who feels angry or frustrated over the bugs or find them game breaking should probably take some time off to play a few other games until they are fixed whenever they figure them out. Hopefully soon ?
I don’t let the bugs bug me or break my game either, but what they should do is separate their laundry and show us in which hamper it goes.
In the exact same laundry list, every month.
Long Term Laundry: needs to be washed at a really high setting or goes to the Dry Cleaners altogether: this includes major bugs such as The Stairs, The Garden etc.
If they keep acknowledging that these are being investigated at least we know. Many of us don’t use Twitter. These should also be on the official list on the official website. Every month. Until they’re fixed.
Short term Laundry: is washed at a lower setting and is the kinda laundry that’ll probably be fixed in the next patch. Currently that’s the only laundry they’re talking about.
This 100%, all people want to know is that they're aware of the big issues and are working on them and that's what the laundry list should show, but at the moment it's still a guessing game of "are they fixing it? who knows!" as theyre only addressing things coming in the patch 2 weeks later and nothing else.
It's very easy to feel ignored reporting bugs in this game and them not acknowledging bugs until a few weeks before they're fixed is just too late and sort of misses what these lists should be about. I hope they'll realise this as they go on and change how the list works and then it would (mostly) satisfy everyone
