Another month another update. I think this is the month we get a new memory update to make the game run faster. As usual expect many fixes. I'm hoping the autonomous romance bug is fixed. Sims don't automously do romance anymore and maxis have confirmed this is a bug.

My Sims that is Romantic, Hungry for Love and in a relationship with another Sim, does seem to do some romantic autonomy (but I also make them where flirty moodlet jewelry too). But usually limited interactions, so I'd love that improved.
But I'd love autonomy improved period XD
That us my wish trait based autonomy updates, including blacklisting autonomy of things they 'dislike'.
I wonder if this bug is related to a pack I don't own, cause I feel like my sims flirt autonomously all the time these days. I was shocked when Eliza Pancakes flirted with her sister-in-law who lives next door. At least it was discreet, though. I have another sim living in a haunted house who had an unintentional love triangle with her husband and Guidry the ghost. Suffice it to say that hubby and Guidry don't get along.
Hope they fix a bug with infants constantly getting put down on the floor in the middle of the night out of the crib. This bug came with the last update and several hot fixes. I find it very annoying and it makes me rage quit the game because of the darn bug. Even if I have autonomy turned off. I have no mods or cc just playing vanilla. So i am hoping they fix it next patch day.
My only hope is that the next patch does not break my saves. I haven't touched any save for more than 2 hours a month since last October. Every time I get my game playable, they release an "update." The update renders my game UNplayable for at least 2 weeks.
There should be more flexibility when it comes to fixing broken family trees and dynasties. When the game turns spouses into half brother and sister or sisters and brothers into someone else's aunt and uncle or cousin, it's annoying. I can't just click them together again. I then have a bunch of "unknown parents" with no way to delete them.
My sims still have autonomous romance but the problem is that every time they perform a romantic action, it actually reduces the romance bar. When they try for baby, it can reduce the bar by around a third. This bug is wrecking the relationships of my sim couples.

I hope its to fix the last update, honestly. My game is still not right even after the hotfix.
I have not updated since purchasing Royal & Legacy (Feb 2026). I am petrified!!!
The March 2026 update revealed EA/MAXIS ability to control the content (Mods & CC) within our games, thereby affecting how we play with life. They turned the switch on, then turned if off(?) Will we ultimately find that we can only use content harvested from the "marketplace?"
