Are Anyone Else's Sims Walking Around w/Umbrellas In the House?

I have the opposite in my game. I haven't seen a single sim use an umbrella the whole time I've been playing this save. Granted, I've only been playing since Wednesday or Thursday but it's rained quite a bit and still no umbrellas.

Edit: Nevermind, I had a duh moment. I forgot to select their preferred umbrellas. Didn't sims used to just use the default umbrellas automatically though? Either way it's working and I had moment of stupidity. ?‍♀️
