All of the dlc for sims 4 is watered down. With the exception of perhaps vampires.
I agree, the tactic seems to be criticise the sims 3 to make the sims 4 looks good which is really sad coming from the people who made it.
University added rabbit hole classes. Watered down, stripped versions of Sororities, (at least I think that’s what it’s meant to be) removed Greek housing altogether and I’m not even going to talk about what they did to the secret society.
Island living’s main selling point is a back drop and staring at a buoy waiting for your sim to come up with an item that will make them even more rich.
Get to work added three careers that were hugely similar, had more checklists than you want to remember and the retail system isn’t a patch on the sims 2 retail system.
Actually, so much of the problem now is the recycling of things. Animations, skill trees, systems in game, spellcasters are one big recycle. Nothing feels unique.
They want more money for Dlc for less comtent. And for some bizarre reason it seems to work.
