I don't know when this happened but after several months of having my grocery store in game I finally got around to sending one of my Sims there to buy the veggies and fruit I had in those freezers since the last time it was fixed last year (months and months ago). They are all empty again... :'( Does anyone know how long these have been broken again?

Perhaps try testing by having your sims buy a new store, and stock the lice freezer with some items in that new store. Then test to see if the issue occurs in that new store also.

I have tried selling my retail lot and bought a new one, and still cannot add any produce to the lice freezer. I’m not on twitter to report it. I think I’ll just keep selling produce through my inventory and wait until seasons is out to try selling flower arrangements through retail instead.

I know this is probably obvious and has already been done for those having problems, but have you tried repairing the game? Sometimes I've had to do that with updates before anything new added or fixed will work, especially in old save games. Brand new save games after an update usually work fine with the new features. @Aine Thank you for your help. I tried deleting the localthumbcache file and starting a new save, and neither solution worked. I will try repairing my game next to see if that works.

No dice. I've tagged SimGuruNick on Twitter. I just realized that the patch didn't actually say this was fixed. Only that customers could buy from the freezer on retail lots. Nothing about produce unless I missed it.

@IceyJ That's weird! Hopefully @simgurunick can check it out. It would be cool to be able to use the freezer for produce.

As Karababy52 stated, repairing the game works best if you log out of Origin after the repair finishes. Then log back into Origin and load the game save you want to play. For bigger problems, I go so far as to restart my computer after logging out of Origin and before logging in again. Resetting the game files sometimes takes running the repair option a couple of times. Good luck. I am interested in how this sorts itself out because I would like to own a small market and having that freezer is crucial.

It's fixed 'again' in the new June patch notes ,2018. It was broken in my game the last time I played in Aug. 2017.

The notes only say that sims can now buy items in the Lice fridge. They still haven't fixed the problem of not being able to put produce inside. The Lice fridge has many issues but only one was fixed in the June 19th patch.

It says sims can buy if you keep it well stocked. I'm so confused. If we are not putting anything in there then plum are they buying? When I open the freezer it's empty. There's nothing to buy cause nothing will go inside of it. Am I wrong or not understanding something?

Other food items can still be dragged inside the freezer to be sold.

You mean like prepared meals?

Yeah, cooked and baked foods, I think.

I went back and re-read the patch notes and it says they fixed it to work on npc lots...so basically they have made it so we can't sell our produce with it on purpose. Now we can buy stuff on npc lots, well yippeee. I want it to work like it used to. I want to sell my produce. Why would they fix it so that we can't use it!!! I'm so plum annoyed.

Thanks for letting me know they reopened the issue. I'm glad they did.

It wasn't done on purpose. They're talking about a different bug where nothing at all could be purchased from the freezer if an NPC owned it. They fixed that. But they haven't fixed the produce bug, yet.
