Yeah, I deleted it when I removed my mods.

Have you tried using a new save file? Sometimes new updates doesn't work for old save files.

@Aine Tried that just now. New game, all mods removed, deleted localthumbcache again, still didn't work. I'm about to repair my game as a last resort.

I know this is probably obvious and has already been done for those having problems, but have you tried repairing the game? Sometimes I've had to do that with updates before anything new added or fixed will work, especially in old save games. Brand new save games after an update usually work fine with the new features. But not always. At least for me. Worth a try I guess if you haven't. *shrugs*

Steps to repair your game:

1. Log in to Origin while online
2. Right click on the image of your TS4 game from your Origin library
3. Click on 'Repair'
4. After the repair is complete, launch your game

The next steps I don't think are really necessary unless you like to play offline like I do:

5. After the game fully loads, exit the game
6. Exit Origin
7. Log in to Origin again, click go offline
8. Launch TS4 again, play

EDIT: Okay, I see you posted about deciding to try repairing the game while I was typing this. Oops! Anyway, hope it works!

@Aine Thank you for your help. I tried deleting the localthumbcache file and starting a new save, and neither solution worked. I will try repairing my game next to see if that works.

No dice. I've tagged SimGuruNick on Twitter. I just realized that the patch didn't actually say this was fixed. Only that customers could buy from the freezer on retail lots. Nothing about produce unless I missed it.

@IceyJ That's weird! Hopefully @simgurunick can check it out. It would be cool to be able to use the freezer for produce.

As Karababy52 stated, repairing the game works best if you log out of Origin after the repair finishes. Then log back into Origin and load the game save you want to play. For bigger problems, I go so far as to restart my computer after logging out of Origin and before logging in again. Resetting the game files sometimes takes running the repair option a couple of times. Good luck. I am interested in how this sorts itself out because I would like to own a small market and having that freezer is crucial.

Just repaired my game. No luck here either.

The patch notes says it's fixed June 19, 2018 Is it not fixed after the new patch? It's one of the many reasons I no longer play this game. Too many ifs, ands, and or buts.
