Are Mimsy and Bernard still around? I haven't seen them in a very long time

I was going through Windenburg doing a little bit of editing to some of the lots, when I remembered Mimsy and Bernard, the two ghost that haunt the Von Haunt Estate. It's been a really really long time since I last saw them. Are they still around? Also do they have a tombstone hidden some where's? I haven't seen them in any of my newer game saves.

    Bernard invited my child sim into a club and I got freaked out cause he’s a ghost and thought it was some sort of cult. :D

    Well, Mimsy definitely is. One of my Sims got invited to the Von Haunt Estate by her brother the other day, and both of them got pretty spooked while trying to hang out. I guess if they didn't believe the ghost rumors before, they do now! :D

    They're still in my game, but they're in a townie household under some Japanese name. No idea how that happened; I certainly didn't do it.

    They never show up at the Von Haunt Estate, but if I go to Manage Worlds I often see their household renting a vacation home when my sims are in Granite Falls or Selvadorada. I guess they needed a break? :D

    They definitely should still be there at the estate. Sometimes I have to look around for them. Mimsy was in the garden one time I visited and Benard was off playing the piano close to the wedding arch.

    Do they come out at a certain time of the day or night? I want to send one of my sims on a ghost hunt.

    If you're playing an older save it's quite possible the game culled them. I hardly ever visit the Von Haunt Estate but next time I'm in game I'll send a sim there and see if they still show up.

    My favorite experience I've had with them is the one time I had a wedding there and Mimsy played the piano during the ceremony.

    The game save I'm playing is not that old, it's been played four sim days. I'm still in the process of setting up everything, and doing a bit of playing seeing what needs a bit of change or help. I don't think they have been culled yet.

    I just found them. I do have the MCCC mod, and I can see them in the homeless household, but for some reason they are called Sim 1 and Sim 2. I'm off to fix that now, and to try to keep the game from Culling them.
