Something to keep in mind when using mods or CC...
Every time you change your mods folder, even if you just put in or take out one single piece of CC, make sure to delete the localthumbcache file in your Sims 4 folder. This file can cause problems when not refreshed, and your game will automatically generate a new one when you start it up. I delete mine on a regular basis for my modded game because I'm always changing my CC and adding more. So I delete that file before I load up the game and things run smoother for me.
I also make a habit of clearing out my other cache files regularly and doing a game repair any time I add a new pack, just in case something in my game is thrown off. I do this for my vanilla, CC-free game as well.
Hope that helps keep things smoother for you. :)
Thanks, I actually do that every time I load the game haha (Or right before I load the game). Maybe I'm doing it too much and should just do it with new mods? ) I don't use CC at all. Just MCCC and a few Ms. Sam mods that I check for updates for before each time I play. The workaround from a dresser works for me, but not sure why the main features don't so still gonna run a game repair when I get a chance and see if that helps.
