Are there any planned changes to Vampires or Realm of Magic?

I mainly ask, as Forgotten Hollow has what looks like a closed mine that bats fly out of (which could lead somewhere with level 10 Handiness, like the caves in Oasis Springs), as well as a footbridge that if the world was expanded a little could allow for a little exploration on the other side of that bridge (I'm not suggesting additional building lots)

I've watched a number of videos on what Moonwood Mill (with the Werewolves) is like, and it would be interesting if the other paranormal pack worlds were updated to reflect what looks to be an increasing design choice in newer content for world exploration.

  • I have to agree.  The first time I played my vampires pack, my vampire got so excited when he discovered the mine or cave entrance.  Instantly forgot about exploring elsewhere in his new world and raced home to max the handiness skill. I’d hopped it would be an entrance to some new hidden world or a ‘darker’ entrance to Sylvan Glade…. Lots of possibilities for new gameplay material in a pack revamp.

    id love for my sim to be walking along the RoM pathways and discover a ring of mushrooms (fairy ring) that transports your sim to the fairy world and maybe have the option to bring back a fairy friend or a changeling child… this scenario could also work in HoB.

    or maybe the pathways led to a cave entrance that transports your sim to a magical dragon world and you were able to bring back a dragon egg that you cared for until it hatched into a baby dragon.  

    This could work using the existing vampire’s cave entrance as well… Or maybe the vampire’s cave leads to an underground mine with trolls and goblins….

    so many possibilities… 

  • I would love for older worlds to be updated unfortunately there are no plans for changes, or at least EA hasn't shared any plans. None of the existing worlds have been updated since they launch of the game so I don't even know if it's possible. But an update to the worlds would be awesome. I was always intrigued by the closed mine in forgotten hollow and disappointed that it's just a visual.

    Th werewolf world has tunnels and one of the chance cards can transport you to forgotten hollow, the vampire world so there is a tiny cross pack element.

    For realm of magic there are magical portals in the hidden objects or debug objects. Some are linked so you can travel from one side of the lot to the other. But there is also one that allows sims to travel to the magic realm. So you can add this to any lot and directly access the magic realm from there. I plan to add this portal to the park in Henford on Bagley.

    @OzSimsFamilyyour suggestion for a dragon egg sounds great. I'd love dragons for my spellcasters.

    As someone who plays a LOT of occult/fantasy gameplay, a refresh on these packs is one of the top things I'd like to see. I've mentioned similar things in the past, how with the Werewolves pack it felt like we got some tantalizing teasers about the interconnected lore, and I would love to see an update to the previously existing packs (or even just some new bonus content) that further fleshed out this backstory and opens up additional cross-pack gameplay options for occults. 

  • I would also be very happy if the other occultists all received an update.
    Aliens and Seafolk stand a bit on their own, but they still need something to catch up with the werewolves in terms of scope.
    But mainly after bringing this lore through werewolves into Sims 4, I'd love to see an update on spellcasters and vampires. A: so that the other occults also get some of the lore, B: have improved gameplay with each other and also how other Sims (depending on relationship, family and character traits) react to it. Werewolves to vampires, vampires to werewolves, vampires to spellcasters, spellcasters to vampires and werewolves.
    It would be cool if you could concentrate a few more resources on upgrading these gameplay packs.

    Give spellcasters the opportunity to use magic to ward off or support the others.
