Are there no builders that also thoroughly play in their creations?

Noticed this earlier in a build I downloaded. They put some stupid decor shelving unit over the fridge which makes it unfunctional and then uploaded to the gallery... Easy to fix but what is the point of adding it? It's sad how many builders care more about looks than making houses people can actually play in. Some things it's like it's clear it won't function or will at least be annoying to play in but they still put it in.
