I know sometimes it is hard, but proves the need for playtesting even more. I have been fighting a few hours with one of the more popular spas from the gallery. Nothing major really, except minor things like two speakers too close so you get a really annoying mix of radio stations.
BUT it turns out the bathroom / showers on the very top floor are unusable. And not for a logical reason. As far as I can tell MOO is NOT used, I can place the same items in the same place without it. But the Sims cannot use anything placed along the back wall. I had to "wall off" the back wall (basically creating a fake "pillar" and move toilet and shower one square forward into the room for them to be usable.
And in this case it seems like a bug in the game since there is nothing that indicates there's an error when placing items (NO items could be used along that wall, not even viewing statues, yet everything could be placed there without MOO, and there was just an empty floor in front of it).
EA doesn't allow playtesters a lot of time to play any of the games before their release too which doesn't help. A lot of things are rushed when it comes to EA. Even the Game Changers aren't allowed enough time to review the packs before it is released and why some were forced to leave because of only having a 12-24 hour window to release their videos which is something that was changed only last year. The game is buggy and routing I hate to say it is worst than the Sims 3. You can blame builders as much as you want but ultimately comes down to how the game is designed and builders can only do so much with the tools they are provided. Sims 4 probably has one of the most limited building in the game market these days. It's not designed for building or for playing. It is designed to focus on CAS and continues down that route. Majority of builders aren't live players too. Some just focus on one part of the game and that's it just like you might just focus on CAS in the game or another part of the game.
