I guess I could have chosen the next option up as well. Strictly numerically speaking, I do technically have more non-occult households. But the occult sims that I do have in my main save are every bit as important to me as the non-occult households. They all make up part of the fabric of the world. Also, I've only just started adding Werewolves, and quite frankly, werewolves rekindled my interest in spellcasters and vampires. Plus, if they ever add fairies, I'm sure I'll add several. So I could easily see the balance shifting in the future.
Also, I really wanted mermaids, but have done very little with them because I was so underwhelmed, so if they ever refresh Island Living, that could change things, too.
(For reference, I'm usually sitting right at 200 favorite households, with several others that I rotate in and out to make sure none that I care about get deleted. I think I only have around ten occult households that I actively play, but again, they are all dear to me.)
