My answer would be yes, but not because my gameplay would be boring. I feel i'm dependent on mods because i have a few that fix some bugs that are so annoying that i know would refrain me of playing if i couldn't fix them... like for example the bug that prevents sims from eating leftovers and instead make them cook new meals.
