Base Game Update May 12 (Patch & Patch Notes Now Live)

They only fixed 3 in April's patch. This patch is probably combining the bugs from the April patch and the May patch. My top 10 bugs for the month of May:

I hope they can focus on updating build mode in an update. Many of the items have bad thumbnails, are missing tags, are in the wrong categories, many categories have too many items that don't need to be there. Why is there a basketball in the kitchen clutter category or a high chair under desk chairs? Why are wallpapers that are clearly paneling under paint or wallpaper instead of paneling? Stuff is too hard to find and the more you add packs, the harder stuff is to find. Overall, build mode is a nightmare to deal with.

Speaking of character length, would it be possible to have longer name for sims and lots? I often reach the limit and need to rename sims and lots .   

I totally agree! I get caught by this, too, especially when I want to make hyphenated surnames.

I'm torn. 🫨I usually wait a couple of days to update but I really want to start the login event tomorrow.

I like to live dangerously and will be updating right away, the event items look great 😊

I'm a bit more cautious with my one and only 8 year old save. I'll do two backups just in case 😄 🤞

Could you make a separate save for events?  That's what I've been doing, and playing with mods switched off for events only.

I am excited yet terrified for this update, lol. I want to play this event and get the Bridgerton bundle this week, so I'm going to have to risk it. I hate playing without the few mods that I use. I've decided to remove my mods and update my main PC, but I'm not updating my laptop, in case something in this patch goes wrong and drives me into madness and I'm filled with regret and despair. (So dramatic 😝) Then I can just continue without the patch on my laptop until mods are updated but use my PC to get the event done. 

I don't have a Sim addiction. Not at all. 😁

Lets cross our fingers that all goes well. I've decided to throw caution to the wind and update. 😀
