I believe one of the strengths of TS4 is how easy it is to mod. With TS3 I also had to use a lot of mods to make it work for me, but it was a little more involved to do so. With TS4 the mod folder is built right in and I just have to drag the mods I want into it.
I love that I have access to an almost endless selection of customization I can add to my game to make it the best game for my play style. I don't think for a minute that the Sim's team would have enough time or budget to add everything that can be added with mods, nor would everyone want those features in their game. I am very thankful to all the gifted modders out there who take the time to create and share their mods and cc with everyone freely.
