I have switched back to the Sims 3, because the Sims 4 seemed to focus too much on partying and other fun activities, and they need to focus more on things that can actually be useful in real life. However, if I was still playing the sims 4, and I found out that this expansion pack added stuff such as blizzards, ice storms, prolonged power outages (meaning that some sims can be without power in their homes for several days), or other bizarre events, then yes, I would buy the pack.

I already bought seasons and fitness stuff, so as much as I'd love Japanese culture/items, I feel like 2 selling points have been done before (snow, climbing) and another (snowboarding) should have been included in seasons. Imo S4's expansion packs don't expand the overall game enough, and have too few consequences with too many bugs. From what I've seen, this looks like a game-pack, esp as it seems to be only 1 small world.

For me to consider buying this, in the trailer, I'd like to see some hotels (with consequences, and gameplay that doesn't copy gtw's broken retail system), competitions, an athletics career, unique activities for kids/toddlers/teens, and some unique Japanese cultural gameplay (eg. taking shoes off before entering). I'm also disappointed that for the builds, they didn't hire any actual Japanese gamechangers - would've been nice to see some diversity.

i usually wait a week or 2 and buy the packs from a website where the pack goes for a couple dollars yes but this expansion pack if done right is big yes for me
