As a male Sim can you get your kid to move in with you?
Can you have just a child move in with you? I had a kid with another Sim and don't want the mom to move in but I do want the kid. Also the mother has her own house she is not a townie.

You could ask the mother to move in and then when the move in menu appears just move in the child and leave the mother where she is. (Out of world or where ever.) This also works with teens etc. Just another in-game way to move kids and teens around without having to use manage households.
