At what cost for Free Babies?

What if they simply add a new life stage between newborn and toddler, and reduce the object baby stage to something like 6 sim hours on Normal life span? Are you willing to accept object babies for half a day (or less) to get 2-3 sim days (normal lifespan) with free babies?

I just don't see any point of object baby if free baby exists like whats the point

also i play aging off so lifespan is not relevant to me i'll age sims when i want

What if freeing the babies breaks saves? Are you willing to start over?

No I would rather not have free babies if it breaks my save

I've been playing this save for 2+years now and I simply cannot imagine starting it over like tbh id probably just stop playing if i couldn't load this save and all my builds and sims and everything would be lost

i had enough problems with wedding pack and lag and bugs recently i simply cannot take losing my saves too

What if freeing the babies just deletes all existing babies in your save?

If they announced before they dropped the bomb and i could age them all up to toddlers (which would not be affected) or avoid making new babies in the game for time being and backup my saves (which would still work) that would be okay

its not like my sims have baby in their household at all times

in fact they do not currently either aside from my test save i used for that neighborhood story thing testing
