At what time will Seasons be released?

Can't speak for anyone else but for me I love this game and am eager to play any additions as soon as possible. I was all set to stay up all night when I thought it was a midnight release. :p As for game reviews? I usually have more than enough info based on pre-release videos and articles.

Don't say "Available 22nd June" THAT'S what's so annoying. Especially with the last game packs etc, they'd be like "this date WORLDWIDE" and to me that means it will be available for everyone in the world, on that date. It confuses people. Exactly what I did for C&D! As a East coast USA person the 1pm kills my plan to take the day off. I’d miss out on too many hours to earn the $ that supply’s me with Sims lol so I’ve informed my sisters that they are downloading it at 1pm and get to play for roughly 4.5-5 hours before me :'( hopefully my commute won’t suck that day!

I think if they don’t release worldwide (it should be midnight 22 everywhere) then stop saying it’s released on the 22nd, kids especially get excited and then it’s so hard to clarify when it actually comes out. It’s not released on the 22nd in Australia so please stop saying it gurus. We don’t all live in America omg it’s so infuriating to assume we do -_-

@ahoychristie my preorder details for origin have always said it would be available here in Australia on the 23rd. So I get your annoyance, I'm annoyed too - I had hoped that would mean that the game would be launched midnight on the 23rd. It looks like it'll be later. But still, they were upfront about the time difference for aussies this time.

Yeah, that makes sense cuz I'm from Singapore and usually when a pack is supposed to be released on let's say 2nd April, it would actually say that it would come out on 2nd April for me too even when I'm like 12 hours ahead of US time.

But this time round, Origin says it will come out on the 23rd of June instead of 22nd of June. I just don't know what exact time it would come out for me tho but at least it's a Saturday for me. XD

I read on another post though, that someone had preordered it through EB games and they're going to have it on the 22nd?! Was saying she won't go through origin anymore because she has to wait longer. So I'll be calling them today and asking when they're actually going to have it in store. I haven't pre-ordered yet, so if EB is gonna have it first, I'll be going there instead! :D

Unfortunately, you still won't be able to play until the game unlocks on Origin. Everyone has to go through Origin, regardless of where you bought the game.

They are not lying to anyone, they are correctly stating the US release day. I don't think it would look very good if their trailers end with

"Available June 22nd

People have to stop getting upset and angry over very normal things. Research what time THEY have actually said it releases, then check what that means for your time zone. Or learn that release schedules change. Don't go around insulting people for not actually doing anything wrong.

We would ALL prefer a midnight release, trust me. But this is life. It doesn't always go exactly the way you'd like. And quite honestly, patience is not a bad thing for "kids" to learn.

In most areas, the physical copy only contains a code to redeem online. So it is still a digital download and won't be playable until the release time. This rule also applies to physical copies that contain a disc.

Yes Origin has always said the 23rd for us, although EB and JBHiFi have the 22nd as the release date, which confused me.

I preordered this pack from EB because I want the pretty case (getting my $50 worth :D ). I double checked the release date with them, and they said yes we definitely have the release date as the 22nd. I guess they have to sell it on the 22nd so we have the code ready to go AT 3AM OF ALL TIMES! GAH :s

I had my Friday all planned out too. :(
