The errors in the packs were never that worse for me that I regretted to buy them and felt I should have waited.
And as sad as it is I don't think there is anything we can do to stop EA from dropping Sims 4 after Sims 5 is out.
Project Rene already costed them a lot of money and they need income after release.
So making it free to play increases the pressure on the team to make money with Sims 5.
Imo there is no way they are going to waste any resources in Sims 4 anymore by then.
