One thing I'm glad for is once TS4 stops getting updates, modders can fix up anything that needs fixing, and those mods won't break from game updates anymore. TS4 is a lot more moddable than TS3, so I'm looking forwards to that. Obviously that's not a solution for anyone playing on console, but I'm personally looking forwards to stuffing my game with unbreakable mods in the future.
I do plan on getting base game of TS5 upon launch to check it out, but I'll probably wait a long time before buying any DLC for it. 'Cuz I didn't like waiting so long between each occult release of TS4, so I'll probably wait until TS5 already has all the staple occults released before I buy any DLC at all. I joined TS4 when vampires released, thinking more occults would also come shortly after, but it takes 3 years in between each occult release for this iteration, so I've learned my lesson and won't be grabbing any TS5 DLC at all until my fav packs have already been released for it.
