Have to see the july patch broke many mods if august patch is big i will wait to update this time.

Two big patches in a row? I have the impression that there are usually a few months between big patches so I don't expect anything major. Remember the last patch gave us the jealousy options, eyelashes, a copy button in CAS, round pools and new hairs. That feels like a big update. I could see some new items (cas or bb) coming to the game. I think ironing out the bugs from the previous patch is more important now.

They are fixing issues. Right?
Right.

I don’t think there’ll be anything very much in the August patch. I think we’ ve now had everything on the roadmap, and we did just have a huge July patch which added quite a few new base game features. Also, it’s August, meaning lots of people are away on their holidays. It’s always a pretty quiet month in my part of the world, at least. I don’t think there’ll be anything much now until September, when we should get the next roadmap.

I am ready to not get anymore updates at this point. Most of the time they don't work at first and require a second round, and we have to spend a lot of time updating our mods folders and stuff. I'm starting to feel bad for the modders bc a part of me (the conspiracy theorist part) thinks the sims is pushing patches and updates to make it harder for the modders to keep up 😂😂😂 but that's just me over-thinking.

i don't think they'd ever do something like that tbh. biggest reason being how easy they made it to download and install mods in ts4. They know a majority of the sims 4 community is playing with mods, and a majority of modded players wouldn't play without their mods.
July + LS broke so many big things that uh I just wish they get all that fixed first tbh
can't really play before its safe to load my main save so 😬 and I don't even use mods or cc

I feel like you Simmingal. My main save goes all the way back to 2014, of course has grown a lot since then, but with these broken lots and things., I’m afraid to play it. I don’t use mods or CC either, but had some issues with my last build save downloading rentals and getting a white world. Now with these broken lots with events it doesn’t make it much with playing. But, I think I will get the Lovestruck expansion and update my sims with romance options. And, pray that they fix all of these lot issues.

I completely agree with Simmingal.
First order of business, should be to fix the God Awefull mess they made of the last patching round.
I haven't even bothered trying to update yet, due to all the bad reports of yet another failed mess of an update.

As for the next patch, I just want ALL the major game breaking bugs fixed.

No, please no. I am having anxiety just thinking about it. Just hope i can enjoy playing for at least a few more days. Next winter im going vanilla. I so regret putting mods !
- GalacticGalSeasoned Ace
While I don't regret adding mods to my game, I fully understand having to wait for the mods to be updated, and/or play without them. Vanilla is not going to do it for me, however. Get Famous left out a singer career, so I must have a mod for that. Unfortunately, I had to pull a couple of small mods in order to get my game to play after the patch. My Child Sim can no longer play his guitar, as planned. Luckily, he's almost to skill level 9, so he won't have that much to go to master this instrument.😲
