- I really hope they finally remove babies from the crib, so that we can carry our babies around, and make it an actual life state.
- caprice812New SpectatorI was lurking the forums early this morning before going to bed. I came across a thread that you can post what you have discovered in sims4 game. There was one post showing a woman sitting at her kitchen table, saying it was cute they could hold their puppy in their arms and sit at the table!!!!!
So, why can't we do that with babies?????? Makes absolutely no sense to me :s - caprice812New SpectatorI love the renders, but they have always showed someone holding the baby in them, even though they are just objects tied to the crib. Not getting hopes up till/when/ if it actually happens.
So, I can only hope that they remove the babies from the crib, and give us what we should of had from the beginning.......a life state/stage, not an object! - catloverplayerSeasoned AceSince Grant has left I wonder if we ll get freed babies. Grant said recently he wanted to add them.

@catloverplayer I'm a bit confused by your post as it seems to imply that with Grant leaving now, we might not get freed babies since he recently talked about adding them.
Grant was one of the main reasons babies are still objects in the first place. If anything, him leaving is a better chance of getting freed babies, which I really hope will be the case.- Sigzy_29New Spectator

He left, but this new project he might be working on has me thinking. I hope he doesn't ruin that said "project" like he did with TS4, no offence. He's made some pretty crabby decisions, like not putting dog houses in TS4 because it's somehow offensive, right.... I think having a new senior producer, a less politically driven one, will make things a bit better although I'm afraid this might be a little too late, some years too late. I hope the next iteration has some strong new blood working on it as we speak, and I hope EA doesn't make it online, it's beyond stupidity how they still haven't learned after Simcity, Anthem and Star Wars. - caprice812New SpectatorI am not giving up hope that one day soon they will "free the babies".
I, personally, think that if they do.....it will be before June (or whenever the deadline is)when they switch to 64 bit. Since they are not going to update or do anything for the ones playing 32 bit, that means they wouldn't get them if they freed them later. If we don't get them when they switch over, then I don't see it happening at all in Sims4. - catloverplayerSeasoned Ace

The deadline has already passed I believe. It started after StrangerVille. - I can't see them limiting content - paid or free - because it won't be available to players without 64-bit. If anything, no longer needing to devote time to making the game compatible with 32-bit and especially with outdated video cards should free up time to work on some of the improvements.
- I hope this means they'll free the babies in next month's update...
