I did read where SimGuruGraham said the weight gain subroutine may be a little "aggressive" and that they were looking at it. However, the only weight gain in my game has been as described, and it's been very minor. I don't have them exercising on a regular basis, but they have a three-story house and are always climbing stairs. Maybe that helps?
