We need the Flowers of Edinburgh and the Dance of the White Cockade! These are old Scottish country figures. Lots of toe-pointing and hops. Very popular in the mid 18th century colonial America. My sixth great-grandfather apparently was very good at these. ;) the Minuet used to be performed by a single couple so that the rest on the dance floor could evaluate how well they performed the steps. ;)
We genuinely need a slow dance, where couples actually dance together. Weddings just aren't the same without that. Plus, the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance.
