I didn’t know about the Fresh Chef glitch. Is there a place to report this problem with the pit? If anything the food from the pit should taste better than normal.
I once had the benefit of eating pork from a pig the had been cooked all day in a pit in the ground (similar to this) and it was unbelievably succulent and delicious. Sims should get the divine dish moodlet from eating some of these dishes (although not tofu turkey— I wish they hadn't included it).
Cooking is one of my favourite activities in the game and I would really like this issue to be fixed.
