Cowplant update, this patch should add the ghost state to the basegame.
Essence of fear could be produced when a scared sim is eaten.
You can create ghosts in CAS now!
Ghost overlay can be toggled. So you can edit the look as if the sim were alive.
Can you make ghost toddlers or infanta? ^^
Finally !! Awesome!!
There are even restrictions on causes of death. For example, because vampires cannot die by broken heart, you cannot create vampire ghost that died of broken heart.
Occult selector? Source: datamined by a modder ZerbuTabek? Count me in!
This solves the part of not being able to choose reborn sim's occult status. Now how about genetic components next? How can I randomize from genes of pre-existing sims?
I hope the rumour about the Occult Selector will soon become official news!!
A feature like this is gonna be extremely useful! I've been wanting this since the dawn of time. I don't care if it arrives "late", as long as it WORKS! It's always so sad whenever a rough 'n' tough looking werebeast in CAS looks me in the eye and tells me: "I should've been a mermaid, buddy..." To be unable to grant that wish directly in CAS is heart wrenching. Will this all change soon?! 🤞🏻
I'm also happy that this giga patch drops a bit earlier than usual. I'm sure plenty of hotfixes are needed before the release of L&D. I'll be quietly building, entirely mod free, for I can no longer live in livemode without certain mods. I also hope they fix the off-the grid lot bug.
I wonder what else they have in store for us? I still don't entirely understand the hint (?) about those specific worlds on the tarot cards, especially the Strangerville one. The other ones all have graveyards, so I believed it was related to that, but Strangerville...why? I wonder do the possessed plant zombie sims have anything to do with it? 😮🧟♀️

Children taken by the social worker no longer getting deleted - finally! (I can't remember having it happen and have a mod in place to keep the kids, too, but the possibility of that one breaking always made me anxious.)
Customizeable tombstones are so welcome, too. I always disliked the enforced "You were not a human" gravestones for occults. Now if we could get the same for the plumbob, that would be nice. (Again, I have a mod that does this, but you know, mods aren't failsafe.)
Sims only gaining weight when on an active residential lot - another mod obsolete, good.
Globe bar drink platter fitting on coffee tables - seems like a small ting, but was so annoying.
I’m happy about the occult selector, but I will probably play offline for a bit, just in case Tuesday’s base game update causes major issues.
So happy about the new mermaid tombstone and urn, finally! Occult changer in cas is nice, was really never a problem for me anyway tho (cheats be easy).
Being able to select the ghost color sounds good, if permanent, otherwise it seems pointless. Will we be able to choose what type of ghost aka type of death when making a ghost in cas tho? That would be wonderful.
