Yikes, I will never touch that pack selection feature, that's why I'm so stingy and demanding with the packs I have: I require them all for my saves. It's kinda asking for trouble.

Unrelated, but beware with the script mods and this update. If you can't load your saves, check those first. Took me +2 hours to find the ones that were causing this.
