So many neat things coming I can't pick one! Actually, since I do have a family, the playground lot type is interesting. Maybe it's time to reimagine the Duke's Hall lot in Chestnut Ridge. 🤔 A petting zoo would be a great place for families to bring their little ones for fun and a some playtime.
A reminder for those who are wanting to avoid the patch for now. Remember to disable automatic updates in the EA App before putting the app in offline mode. You can find the option here, EA App>Settings>Download. If you don't disable it, even if you put your app into offline mode the game will still download the patch in the background while you play.

I have to say that I studiously make a copy of my entire Sims 4 folder, as I've become accustomed to doing. Then I updated. Folding the remainder of my laundry while I waited for it. Which didn't appear to take much time at all, as the notice said updated at 11:28. Then I went into my game and played for just a bit. Hey, it's Christmas Day in my game, currently. Had to play that through for a bit. So far, so good. Mods are activated and my game is running smoothly. I haven't noticed anything to raise the alarm over. Phew! I have plans for this family, after all. I hope others who have patched have as much success as I'm having. I was so very worried, based on past moments of ruination in my game, after a huge patch I only catnapped last night. Yeah, stress affects my sleep, among other things. I am just so grateful. Because I had already determined if my Erik save went kablooey, that would be it. I refuse to restart that family again.

So far, fingers still crossed, this patch may not be too bad. I hope you can sleep easier tonight and that your save stays un-kablooied. 😊
