I have a major issue
- [EA Forums] A top community concern around "Sims performing Mean interactions" was investigated. We found while this was previously happening, these were old bugs that we'd previously addressed in past patches. When we investigated new reports and player saves we found this was being caused by the "Vicious Dynasty Ideal" from Royalty & Legacy and was by design. We wanted to address this feedback however, so Sims with the Vicious Dynasty Ideal will no longer autonomously run Mean interactions. They will still get Prestige Points when a player manually runs Mean socials.
If you don't want Mean interactions, just don't use Mean features that's very simple.
What is the point of Mean features if the NPC townies can never do Mean interactions ??? It doesn't make sense.
The fact that Mean features are not functional and became useless is a big issue :
- Mean trait
- Evil trait
- Mean Vibe lot trait
- Roughhousing Encouraged NAP
- Vicious dynasty ideal
Stop killing "Mean" gameplay !

I agree, I was flabbergasted to read they were removing MORE AUTONOMY in NPCs. It's like there's two camps of simmers: those who want to direct everything (like a dollhouse) and those of us who like the randomness and crazy outcomes. I don't want a ton of mean townies, but sims like Malcom Landgraab shouldn't be super friendly and ignore their traits. Or a dynasty ideal!

I wish the autonomy was better tuned to the Sims traits. Sure now they don't use the computer so much, but they are all harvesting like crazy. Makes sense if they have high gardening skill or outdoor traits, but even my children ignore everything to harvest. It's summer go for a swim, go roller skating, etc.
