Has anyone considered changing Granite Falls from Outdoor Retreat into that planet with those mini wookiees? I mean regular worlds have city back drops that would make it difficult to carry off a world on another planet, but GF is nothing but woods. I could build my rebel base there and go there to plot the Empire's downfall and then travel to Batuu to carry it out. For that matter, Selvadorada could work too. Something to think about.

Also, I know I'm in the minority, but I do like the last trilogy (ok, maybe not the last jedi, but I didn't hate it hate it). For the longest time I thought we'd be getting Jacen and Jaina. But I like the new characters a lot.

I just like Star Wars, heh. So the new trilogy isn’t horrible for me. I’m not crazy about some things, but I recognize that they couldn’t do the Expanded Universe storyline because not everyone read those. I didn’t read the Legacy of the Force or Fate of the Jedi arcs, losing Chewie was bad enough in Vector Prime (stupid Vong) that I was done. I couldn’t have taken Jacen’s face-heel turn into Caedus as easily because I grew up reading Young Jedi Knights, and he was this prankster of a kid that was just too lovable. But Kylo was easier to adjust to.
I think that Lucasfilm and everyone involved in all the new movies drew a lot from Legends. I practically screamed with glee when the Hammerhead corvettes from KOTOR showed up in Rogue One (that’s a ton of nostalgia) and there are a lot of homages. Plus Thrawn. Totally back.
