"Impossible" is usually a shorthand for "we can't implement it with a satisfactory quality given our current resources". Fewer things would be "impossible" if EA gave The Sims the love and resources it deserves, whether it's labor or time. Now that TS4 is in better shape compared to the past, and seeing how they were able to make seasons affect every world, I'd really love it if making bodies of water swimmable wasn't so "impossible" anymore.
Exactly. There are very few things in game development that are truly impossible. Everything else is just a matter of time you're willing to put into bringing your idea to life and the resources available. EA could afford absolutely everything players want from the Sims, but they'd rather pump their money into everything but this franchise.
A swimmable beach will most likely come in a vacation DLC.
Yeah. Imagine what we could've gotten if TS4 wasn't built to be always online in the first place. :( It's good that they tried to salvage the base game by patching in the most requested base game features, but we could've gotten a lot more in another reality. Possibly dynamic worlds.
