Bear Night, Alien Night and Ghost Night

They do happen in my game. They don't start as soon as your sim is at the bar, it takes some time before they start/are announced:

Everyday: Happy Hour – Drinks are discounted by 50% for everyone.
Monday: Bear’s Night – Needs Outdoor Retreat. Drinks are discounted 50% for Bears Only.
Tuesday: Alien Night – Needs Get To Work. Drinks are discounted 25% for Aliens only.
Wednesday: Ghost Night – Drinks are discounted 25% for Ghosts only.
Thursday: Knight Night – Sims have to be wearing the Knight Outfit. Drinks are discounted 50% for Knights only.
Friday: Ladies Night – Drinks are discounted 25% for Ladies only.
Saturday: Singles Night – Drinks are discounted 25% for singles only.
Sunday: Guys Night – Drinks are discounted 25% for Guys only.

@Gagea Thank you! I just wanted to verify they happened every week.

My sim was at the bar for a few hours, and the only event that was announced was the happy hour for everyone. I have Outdoor retreat and Get to Work and did not see any bears or aliens those nights. Also did not see the ghosts or knights on their respective nights. I have seen them in the past so wondered if this was another one of the bugs that came with the new patch or they just didn't happen regularly.

Could it be that you were at a karaoke bar? I think that lot type only has happy hour, but not sure.

I was at the bar from the university pack.

**Update** I had my sim visit the Rattlesnake Bar in Oasis Springs, and all the special bar nights took place as normal. Maybe the university hangout trait for the bar in Britechester prevents them from happening?

@CaprianaB That's as good a guess as any. I can't recall seeing any of the special nights at the university pub either.
