Best Workaround to Own A Bar?

I have a sim that I want to own multiple bars, but I just realized you can't own bars. (Duh.) What do you think the best workaround for this would be? Does anyone know of a mod that lets you own bars? Or should I make this some other type of business, and if so, should I make it retail or a restaurant? So bummed right now.

Edit: I don't care about making money from the venue, I just want control over it for the sake of storytelling.

I'ld go the restaurant route. You just have to place a small kitchen and a few tables (satisfy minimum requirements) and the menu can be something light, at your choice, that would recall a bar... and yeah you can own as much restaurants as you want. You can be a franchise queen :)

There are several mods that make it possible to own any lot type, but you could also just make a bar-esqe restaurant.

You can definitely own more than one! I own a German place in Wintenberg and a Pizza on the Pier in Brindleton Bay.

Ik this is old, but you could possibly create a "restaurant" that only serves drinks and then lay it out with the type of tables and decor you'd see in bars. You could also simulate a bar by putting a line of tables right next to each other, and then sims will sit at those tables all facing the same way as if they're at a bar.

Just go to the panel, click on the banner, and buy a new restaurant. :smile:
