Best worlds for a kingdom

Ravenwood is also a good world for a kingdom. It is eerie and it has a beautiful 50x50 lot with a stone pathway around it. 

Simmingal​ I dismissed forgotten hollow because it's only 5 lots. But you have a good point with the castle overlooking the village. That setting looks very fitting

Yes, playing a monarch in every world would be very time consuming. I have to pick and choose as well.

Exactly, whatever suits you. Freedom for the players to choose is one of the best features of this game. If you want del sol valley to be a kingdom, then go for it. 

Top 3 in my save will probably go to...

1. Windenburg Island

Perfect for little medieval kingdom cut away from everything modern
I have placed all my Sims Medieval inspired builds there, I just need to finish those one day 🤣

2. Forgotten Hollow

I love lot placement here, with the castle overlooking little town, vampires inviting food to their masquerade ball... statue of the leader Vladislaus...we have lost track of the numbers... looking over his people in the center square... Yes. 🖤

3. Innisgreen

Yeah, I think fairies will definitely have their own royalty.
Most probably Summerdreams will take on the task as Mara is just fated to be Faerie Queen Mara 🧚‍♀️

as for maybes I could go for:

Tartosa - Laurent family is connected to Thebes so they could be considered royal

Del Sol Valley - Pinnacles could be good for like idk Landgraabs or whatnot. like modern royalty kind of thing.

Sulani - I think I will interpret ''chieftain'' as royal title here and make Hoapili household royals

San Myshuno - I could see the park replaced by palace of some kind,
or maybe something like Prince of Bel Air just chillin in one of the apartments...
 or maybe that penthouse in uptown could have royal residence? hmm...

Henford on Bagley - Perfect for that Jane Austen nonsense I like to watch
but I'm little torn on the ''royal'' of it all tbh, might just keep it fancy dancy less so knights and fights 😅
I don't want it too similar to what I have going on in Windenburg.

Tomarang - I don't have it cause I'm paranoid of breaking my save with For Rent
but yeah my first thought with that world was always to have palace of some sort there

Mt. Komorebi - this map would be good but I already built little castle for Mt.Komorebi Peak
and I like it being separate from rest of the world there

Base Game worlds - still searching good place for Chinese palace (watch too many historical dramas)
so I might have to use one of the base game worlds for that 😅

aaand yeah Ondarion will stay royal obviously.

Chestnut Ridge- Old west cattle kingdom

While not literal monarchs, investors and cattle barons controlled vast territories and operated much like royalty.

Requires a bit of imagination, 😀

My big dilemma right now is that in my existing save my old main kingdom covers about 15 worlds. I really hope there is a way to group worlds into a kingdom unit. We can't have a played monarch in every single world anyway, there would not be enough simming time... and, it's a pity if taxes are meant to affect bills and not just reputation, and most worlds are not affected.

My current palace is located at The Pinnacles in Del Sol Valley, just because the biggest lot there was classy enough both visually and "above" the city. Unfortunately Del Sol Valley doesn't appear as the typical royal world, but hey-ho, it's all in our imagination.

My royal family also owns great estates in Nordhaven, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa (might be switched with Bellacorde), Ravenwood, San Sequoia, Ciudad Enamorada, and Newcrest. I have a dukedom in Windenburg, Henford-on-Bagley, San Sequoia, San Myshuno, and Brindleton Bay. Hmmm... now I feel pity for my Counts and Dukes residing a world where there is no kingdom... who will they relate to technically?
