Best worlds for a kingdom

With the new pack we can have a kingdom in every world. I can't decide who will become a royal because I need the new cas assets to properly get into creating royal sims but I am planning on the worlds themselves. So here is my question: which world's do you choose to become a kingdom.

Personally I would prefer worlds that are not suburban or too small (sorry glimmerbrook) . Overly American inspired worlds don't fit the royal vibe for me (no offence to anyone. Everyone has their own choice and preference in this)

I am considering

  • windenburg: the countryside with it's huge 64x64 is perfect for a medieval inspired castle
  • henford on bagley. The world is very world so more suitable for a country residence. I am thinking of Balmoral here
  • Tartosa: the new world has a unique African vibe so this can be a nice alternative to have Mediterranean kingdom in the same save as well as an African kingdom
  • Mt Komorebi: an Asian kingdom with a traditional monarchy. The 50x50 lot of the Ito family looks like a good location
  • Toomarang : a perfect place for over the top exotic royalty with a throne in Tiger wall prints. Finding a big lot in this world will be a challenge
  • Nordhaven: this pack is inspired on Norway and Sweden, both kingdoms in real world. A palace in the city could work.
  • Innisgreen: a magical fairy kingdom, who can resist. Perhaps Oberon and Titania can become the royal family
  • Ondarion: the African world looks amazing so far. I can't wait to play here.

EricErianโ€‹ your Egyptian word looks amazing. It's very interesting to see what you did with the place.

I also like your idea of the blue, white, red, green and golden Knights. It gives me ideas to link the different royal families in my game.

FairlyFairyXOXOโ€‹ that looks like a pretty castle. Nice of you to mention the name of the creator. I will look and see if I can find it on the gallery. I'll need to find some nice but playable castles for my game. Building them all myself would take up way to much time.

  • It would be nice, if there was a way to Either delete the cars or change them into horse & cart appearances to fit the timeline.

  • Here are my ideas for kingdoms....

    Oasis Springs - Alien kingdom

Windenburg - Germanic Royal family living in Von Haunt Estate. I mean, come on. That place is way too beautiful to be an off-limits museum.

Forgotten Hollow - Vlad's Castle!! I haven't played Vlad yet, so I have big plans in store for him...

Sulani - A Merfolk kingdom, duh!

Glimmerbrook - Hecate, the Goddess of Witches will be Queen ๐Ÿ˜

Mt. Komorebi - A Japanese monarch in the Yukimatsu neighborhood - the biggest open lot in the world.

    And finally...

Innisgreen - As OP said... Who can resist a fairy kingdom ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  • Oh, and...... The African-inspired neighborhood in the new pack was at first thought going to be a Wakanda type world, but since I'm trying to learn isiZulu, I thought it would be a much better fit.

Henford-on-Bagley and Windenburg are probably recommended if you plan to have nobles with horses.

  • Personally, I like your first two choices. When I build a castle I like to place it on a 64 X 64 size lot.

  • While I do plan to (eventually) make a base Save, where the extra "kingdoms" are will probably depend on the story I decide to tell for the given save.  If I don't care about royalty in that save, I probably won't do anything beyond the default of Ondarion.  But if I set up something beyond that, there are some good candidates, most of which have been covered...

Windenberg is obvious.  I even built a Von Windenberg Castle based on Highclaire Castle (aka Downton Abbey) when the Castle Kit came out.  Available on the Gallery (plug, plug)
Henford on Bagley just feels like a smaller part of a larger nation (with Britechester), so that may only get a Dutchy if anything.  This will probably vary by save, too.  Britechester, by contrast, won't get its own nobility... even if there was room for it.
Tartosa will likely become a Principality, like Monaco.  I don't play there often, so setting up (and cheating up) a royal household there and then letting things go feels about on brand for me.
Tomarang may well get some sort of Nobility.  I need to do more research into South East Asian historical kingdoms first
Innisgreen seems easy, but as they have the fairy and non-fairy sections, maybe it will be under contest between the humans and the Fae... heck, that may even be where I put my spellcaster Nobles.  This may also be a by save thing.
Forgotten Hollow - Vlad will finally have a day (night?) job in my saves, as Vampire King... or maybe Prince (VtM, anyone?)
Glimmerbrook - probably not.  Not because it's small, but because I see it as "ruled" by the Sages as a council of 3.
Ravenwood feels like it should have a creepy old haunted castle around somewhere, but that will probably end up being a by save thing.
Nordhaven, Mt Komorebi, and Ciudad Enamorada (which I really need to play in more) could get something, but don't "feel" right to me, kinda like Britechester.

The "US/American" worlds of Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Chestnut Ridge, Del Sol Valley, San Myshuno, Brindleton Bay, Evergreen Harbor, San Sequoia, Copperdale, Moonwood Mill, and Gibbi Point* likely won't get any Nobility unless I make some drastic changes.  I don't care what Judith Ward or the Landgraabs think.

And anything can happen in Newcrest.

*I know Gibbi Point isn't neccisarily American, and yet it has this weird feel of a mix between somewhere betwen rural Puget Sound, Yellowstone, and New Zealand, so I can't picture a monarch there either.
