The console players would miss out on the new patch if it's holiday content; therefore I think it's something new for the base game.

Am I the only one hoping for big bug fixes especially uni bug fixes instead of content? I don't even have uni because all of the bugs people are reporting..fix the bugs so we can happily play the content!

I'm in the same boat. I haven't played in months because of all the bugs people are reporting. I've bought University but haven't even installed it yet.

Some Steam news are possible but they wouldn't call that 'big' news since it was announced already and it'd be only about details. And I'd presume Steam and Origin sales would be matched anyway.

When we're spewing out ideas... what about a new empty world for the base game? That'd be nice - more so if it had a bunch of large lots (50x50 at least, 64x64 would be perfect).

Holiday content would not make for a "big" announcement. They also used the "mind BLOWN!" emoji, so that makes it seem not just huge but shocking or beyond next level, like something thought impossible. Hmmm... I think ... I toy with myself too much, so I shouldn't speculate. It's not so healthy for me. o:)
