bite the dust kit

There’s a toggle in Game Options under packs, you have to collapse the Get Famous and Eco Lifestyle boxes to see the one fo Bust The Dust, remove the check mark and that should disable it. Or you can remove the pack entirely following the tutorial below and use the command line argument I provided.

You need Command Line Argument: -disablepacks:SP22

Also, they’re supposed to be tuning it in tomorrow’s patch to make the dust occur more slowly and some other fixes if you’re interested in waiting & seeing if that helps before disabling it entirely.

Hm. I am just now prepared to purchase the kits. Wondering if I should wait a day? Does the dust just show up, if you have the pack, or do you have to clean first to activate it, so to speak? Please, and thank you, in advance.

@GalacticGal the dust shows up after about 8 sim hours unless you choose the option to disable it in the game pack settings.

i no longer have the packs and kits available on my loading screen to do this. it only shows ads for kits another site that is not approved by ea...

Thank you. I think I'll go ahead and make that purchase and if needed, I'll disable the game pack setting if it gets too out-of-hand for me. :) Greatly appreciate the quick response. :)

At the top of the website page there is an announcement about this. They rolled out a fix, but there's a link for those who are still experiencing it. Hope this helps you. Here, I tried to copy and paste: AHQ forum & @EAHelp

As GalacticGal said, you need to contact EA Help if your kits are missing from your game. There was some sort of weird Origin glitch a couple weeks ago that made them disappear from people’s accounts and they were supposed to have fixed it and returned them. But if yours are still missing you need to go to https://help.ea.com

In the menu go to accounts > order management

Once there find where you purchased the kit(s) and write down your order number. Go back out to the EA Help landing page and either submit your information for a phone call from a service representative or a live chat. They will verify your identity as the account owner and then once you give them your order number they will reinstall your kit(s).

thank you but mine arent missing. i want to get rid of the bite the dust kit. i cant play because they are all unhappy and dont cooperate as the dust is so bad. but the load page does not show the icons for all the packs and kits, just advertisements for them. i have no idea how to disable the bite the dust kit with what is shown.

Is the permanent inspired buff fixed with today's patch. The patch notes didn't really mention it.
