Blank Lessons Window popup (related to new expansion)?

My game just had a window pop up with a picture of the new high school (I think), and two blank buttons below it (no text). Clicking the first button opened a menu for "lessons" but all the ones fo...

For me the buttons had text on them. I didn't click them as I wanted to go into CAS first.
Maybe try repairing your game and see if the lessons show up after that.
If that doesn't work, try removing your mods folder entirely (even if in theory the effects would be the same as disabling mods).
