Forum Discussion
Happy weekend, travelers. I hope you are enjoying your respite from the daily grind. As always, I am here to serve you. Today we are reviving the long tradition of patron recommendations to the Jukebox. If you will, please post links to music you would like to share in this thread. Please make each music link a reply to this comment, to keep them in order, but feel free to reply with comments to other posts. On weekends, your recommendations will be added to the Jukebox, which can be found Here.
Cheers, and happy listening.

Hmm.. maybe does not fit the overall theme here, but as I was linking this to someone, why not here too :

What's The Blue Moon without the Blue Moonbox?
Here is one of my favourite songs:
Supernaturally by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. I play that tune on the piano like Animal. Supernaturally. 👻- cyncie2 years agoSeasoned Ace
Of course, we must have our entertainment at the Blue Moon. Thank you for the recommendation, Captain.

I really enjoyed this song, I'd never heard it before, but it has a great storytelling quality to it with a soft intensity that you can really feel. 🖤

I'm truly loving the Jukebox and all of the suggestions people are making! And I'm so, so happy to see so many Damned songs on the Blue Moon playlist because I just recently saw them perform live and they are still incredible. (I even put Dave Vanian in my game - as a Vampire, of course.)
I'll suggest one of my favorites, Seven Devils by Florence and the Machine. I originally linked one paired with a Penny Dreadful fan made video, but I was concerned that some of the images may not be seen as appropriate on these forums, so I changed it to a lyric video. (If you love all things Occult, I highly recommend the original Penny Dreadful series, it's absolutely poetic for horror.):

Another talented artist. That's a hauntingly epic song so it is. 🖤

Greetings and salutations faire folk of the simmers kind.
Allow me to introduce you to the hauntingly beautiful music of Loreena McKennitt
She's one of my all-time favourite female musicians... In fact my longtime username (AncientMuse) in the sims community these past 20+ years was inspired by the name of one of her albums (An Ancient Muse). Her music is labeled as folk music, but her musical influences come from old world celtic/gaelic songs, stories and folklore, as well as the mystical flavours of the middle east and beyond.
Most of her music has a haunting, mystical, old world theme and sound to it.... so I thought I would toss a few of her songs here for the Blue Moon Jukebox, since they seem quite fitting for this strange and wonderful thread. So glad to see a 2.0 version of this thread here at the new forum, even though I don't think I'll be using this new site very often, as I find it to be too much of a hassle trying to navigate my way around and then trying to follow along with any discussions due to the non-chronological scatterings of timelines.
Anyways, back to the good stuff.... here's some links to a few of her songs that I thought would make a great addition to the jukebox playlist:
Night Ride Across the Caucasus
Hopefully all of my links work. I'm having to use the Chrome browser to access this site because my default browser Firefox gives me an "internal server error", so I'm not familiar with Chrome and linking, etc.
I hope you enjoy the tunes! And I'm so glad to see my favourite denizens of ye old and trusty forum haunting this new site with cyncie's fantasical thread! 😊

Great choice! Marco Polo is one of my favorites of hers.

Love that one too! Oh who am I kidding, I love all her stuff.... but I think my top two faves are "Night Ride Across the Caucasus" and "Skellig".

Lovely choices, and welcome to my humble establishment.
