Pics with the tripod aren't suppose to be blurry even if the sim has a level 1 photography skill. Prehaps a bug or maybe the OP has some mods that might be causing the issue.- It’s outstanding & the pictures look gritty. The pictures by the camera itself are not like that. Idk what it is. I don’t have any mods
- dianed4856 years agoSeasoned AceIf the background is blurry but not your sims them it’s normal though.
Mine weren’t blurry even in the background and I used two cameras (the best BG one and the Moschino one). - I'm having this issue too. Playing on ultra settings, using tripot, max photo skill, best camera. Pictures are outstanding but when I view them on the wall they are blurry. (both Sims and Background) HOWEVER, this has been happening before the tripod came out for me too. Started happening around the time of the patch the other day (but I can't say for sure if it was related to it)
- I've noticed this too using the tripod with outstanding photos I've taken. I don't use any mods or CC.
I haven't taken many but it was a group of three, using the cotton candy backdrop and the picture quality was outstanding. The pictures were small and were resized to medium in both a frame and digital frame.
I assumed the resize was the issue. Did other people resize their pictures or were they blurry before? - SilentK0086 years agoSeasoned Ace
I had that problem earlier, turns out that if you take pictures while playing the game in windowed mode the pictures that you take are blurry. I changed to full screen and they where ok. It was a PITA to figure out that one. - I believe mine is full-screened

It is like my sims looks frizzed out."Dianesims;c-17200072" wrote:
