That said, I struggle to connect Werewolves with anything "charming."
Then I remind myself, it IS Sims 4.
I can imagine the quaint little village and countryside these werewolves will wreak havoc on to be quite charming... - Rey_Estupendo5 years agoSeasoned Ace

I think it will be a fantasy realm like fairytales, with some castles and medieval stuff, and we will have fairies and maybe werewolves in it
I really hope you're right. I don't think you are, but I hope you are. That's definitely a pack I want. (Like I said, I really want to build a Disney save, and having more tools to build medieval stuff, werewolves, and faeries would help a ton.)
We've never had two occults in an EP before. And EPs generally try to introduce some new gameplay element that can be used with any sims (though they might have to go to a specific neighborhood to do it), and I'm just not sure what that might be for a medieval EP. EDIT: Okay, horses would do it. But then I'm not sure what a horses + medieval + werewolves &/or fairies pack would have to do with bonding with nature - NightwalkerArk5 years agoNew Ace

If they give us more old style options for building my secluded village, I'd be even more for it.
Bolded: I wish. The idea of actually having to reinforce your house, door and windows when the fullmoon approaches, and your civilian Sims being forced to hide from the unplayed feral Werewolves... oh, well. - Sigzy_295 years agoLegendWhen thinking of "bonding with nature", farming does not come to mind. Much less werewolves. I'm thinking Outdoor Retreat but with more nature related activities. Think cottage core stuff, mushroom picking, preserves, canoeing, gardening, trails, wild animals, etc.
- If it’s anything other than animals being in it I will be so disappointed because the nature part is really getting my hopes up :( but if it’s fairies or werewolves, I’ll be happy for the community because I know that is a highly demanded pack. But a whole expansion on plant sims...I think I’ll
Pass.. "DaWaterRat;c-17884265" wrote:
For those who are questioning Werewolves bonding to nature, I suggest you look up the TTRPG "Werewolf: The Apocalypse" (Werewolf: the Forsaken has similar themes) which presents Werewolves as the (very violent) guardians of the Natural World, fighting against pollution and Urban Expansion, among other evils.
So I can very definitely see Werewolves as bonding to Nature
But I don't see them as being particularly charming. :)
Ummm have you seen twilight? Jacob was VERY charming without his shirt xD- marea_a_moon5 years agoSeasoned AceFarming did not come to mind when i read the new pack had to do with bonding with nature. When i read the hint i thought more along the lines of a theme related to wildlife.
- I think it might still be bands related somehow.
"Bond with nature" could as well be related to outdoor music festivals like Glastonbury or Coachella.
And the whole poster Summer of Sims could be a hint itself - cause it obviously looks like an actual
festivall line-lup poster
Honestly, that would be a perfect activity for our Sims - travelling to a festival world and relaxing while listening to your favourite band ? "Justin;c-17884357" wrote:

I very much dislike the whole saga, but I DO agree with that :D- It's probably an exotic pets pack, although they might add in some wildlife rehabilitation in too. Hopefully they include snakes and lizards, and make them at LEAST as advanced as MFPS rodents and not just glorified decoration. Maybe even give frogs an overhaul. MFPS is a dirty word in the sims community, but I actually liked it because they did a good job giving the rodents their own little lives and making them fun to watch. Bunnies, ferrets, and dragons could even get the C&D treatment. If I'm wrong, hopefully exotic pets would get their own kits down the road that are more focused on the "pet" aspect of the gameplay. I bought the BTD mostly for the
explosive filth fiendsdust bunnies, even though they are supposed to be a backseat feature of the kit.
An expansion dedicated to werewolves and fairies would be AMAZING, but the devs probably won't do that because 1: Many (but not all - some are perfectly lovely people) of the realism players would freak out that there was a whole expansion that would be directed at people other than them 2: They just came out with the kits concept, and they could make more money off of us occult players if they restricted occults to kits and gamepacks. On the other hand, it's not completely off the table because werewolves and fairies are two strongly requested features by a certain segment of the base, and by bundling them together, they guarantee that people who are into one occult but not necessarily the other would pay for both. The likelihood of a fairy/werewolf expansion really all comes down to money, and what their data suggests customers would pay more for.
