Bonus content?
I bought the code for Cottage Living today in a shop (because I collect the boxes) and already downloaded it. But I don't see the bonus content. Wasn't there supposed to be a bike?

The customer service person I spoke with said that it’s a known issue that they’re working on resolving. I want it fixed we would get the bonus contents. Hopefully this is true.

Specifically the Gnome on the Go extras from CD Keys or the missing preorders in general, because they tweeted about the latter.
I'd be curious to see what they do, though.

I'll have a look in foliage but have been all round the build mode and couldn't find that tree. Will check again there though, thanks.
There's been so many times when moneys been tight I've thought of getting packs from sites like CDKeys, it's not been the content but wary of credit card details that stopped me. It's probably perfectly safe and the savings are huge but I'm still wary.

Thanks @Calico45 will take a look at them.
@Bluegayle I swear I looked all over trees but maybe missed it if it wasn't highlighted as new. Will search again.

Also from CDKEYs and the same as everyone else here, no bonus. I have a support ticket raised with CDKEYs at the moment - pointing to the fact that the video on their page mentions the bonus items!
I purchased the game from Origin as well today, as a test, and sure enough you get another entry that see below.
And sure enough the items popped up.
This is evidence that it cant be a mistake. This is deliberate. EA created keys for the resellers that dont grant the bonus items when entered in origin. The same keys are to be used after the 2nd sept. So the statement that keys purchased right now will grant the items was a lie."Calico45;c-17939373" wrote:
CD Keys is known for occasionally carrying stolen codes that will get your accounts banned. As you can see here, it doesn't seem to be that often, but there are a number of horror stories I have heard about it from customers and from when the company makes news itself.
So does amazon, ebay, steam but they are considered legitimate. Yet the gaming companies still provide keys to sellers like cdkeys, gamivo and similar and at the same time warn people of those websites.
I dont understand how people could steal codes. Every code/key can only be produced by the gaming company. Either they sell it through their website, their own software like origin, epicgames, battle.net and whatnot or through resellers. How could they know a code/key is stolen? The reseller would have to inform the gaming company and knowing its stolen are closing accounts of victims.
What does make sense is that gaming companies want to discourage players from buying cheaper keys yet they provide the resellers with the cheaper keys. It would not suprise me if the gaming companies create special keys, tell the customers they are (alledgedly) stolen, remove the content/game and sometimes even close the account so people will hate the resellers and spread their stories how they got screwed. So everyone goes directly to the gaming companies to buy the games at the full price. In the meantime the same companies made uninterrupted profits with reseller keys. Corporate greed has a tendency to do these things.
But they would never adress this in a way that could be credible or verifiable.
