Bonus content?

@mcrudd I have looked very carefully and the items simply aren't there. It's clear that the bonus items weren't in the pack I purchased.

Even if the site I bought it from is not a partner with EA per se - it is definitely bad faith towards customers when they promise bonus items before a certain date for ALL purchases and then still allow codes without those items. I don't care if EA 'meant' it this or that, it's taking advantage of customers and giving false information before purchase. False advertisement is the nicest thing I could say about that.

I simply didn't know the situation, and I definitely feel ripped off.

Ugh that is so frustrating :( I am so sorry, was hoping you might be able to find them if I specified where they were hiding. You HAVE to get them, its says you get them if you buy the game before 2 September, they can't do this to you :(

CD Keys says in THEIR fine print that with any game you buy from them, you DON'T get bonus content unless it specifically says you do on the (CD Keys) page for that game. It doesn't say anything about the bonus content on their Cottage Living page (or at least it didn't several days ago.)

@mcrudd it is sad for sure. Unfortunately way down to the bottom they put this. And CDKeys for one does not offer the bonus it just shows the video with again the disclaimer in tiny print at the bottom. Sucks to put it mildly. For good customer service I think they should make sure everyone gets it. And then next time they do this put the exceptions on top in big letters.

The physical copy I bought at Saturn was definitely not from the "grey market" and costed full price.

In your case maybe check the website of the store and see if they offer the bonus with the game? If they do then I would contact them and ask for it?

They don't mention it - I have already checked their online store for details ...

Rather generic update from CDKEYs, but as expected.

It still feels shady....

The whole situation. Not so much cdkeys being shady, but what we were led to believe by EA.
