Book Nook and Grunge Revival Kits Available Now!

Not everyone has all packs or kits. ?

Both kits look rather underwhelming.

With the grunge, I guess this is abit more 'modern' grunge. Few things I remember from some grunge when I was high school, but think Werewolf pack was more grunge styled. Just had a lot of werewolf art printed on various items though. Or else I'd use a lot of them. Though I do like the chipped, worn nails, tattoo key earring and the shoes (goodness knows can always use more shoes in this game). Not much else.

Book nook is even more underwhelming. I mean...

No beanbag chairs? Cushiony bay window seats with various pillows? Unorganized/Messy bookcases? Mugs and tea cups? Pretty 'meh' with it. Looks like something I could use in adding to a library or book store, though it's on the cleaner side. The modular style bookcases to put along the walls and sofa are the only things I like.

Also sims team forever not separating clutter items. Why does that one candle have to be attached to that plant? I weep. :'(

@Simmerville couldn't you just filter by 'kits - storage - bookcases' to get the whole range? I don't think we have many other bookcases with kits so we should be able to access them all nicely that way.

I do wish we could make our own collections though, or at least save our own rooms in-game where we could pick items from without having to place an entire room.

Sure, but it gets too tedious filtering. I keep not doing that. But thinking of it, I'd at least sort by listing only book cases, so maybe I'll be able to spot the matching items anyways :) I just know from previous matches, that I normally miss out on a few bits of similar sets when they are not lined after each other. Might be my eyes not going well with tiny icons :) If the catalog icons have a similar design/icon hinting of a set, it would help, also.

I think I would quickly lose my sanity without the sort by pack/kit option... Probably because I own all packs. So even if I know exactly what I'm looking for, in a sea of plants it's still going to take a while without sorting.

I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone suggest yet that the band t-shirts are a hint for bands...

I went to the individual pages for both kits and clicked to see what was included and on both pages the pop-ups showed nothing. Nothing, literally. Is this a hint... :s

I was wondering about bands too. Kits, at least some of them look like they're made with items that didn’t make it into packs, so this could be stuff that was meant for High School Years, but also….if they were to make a Bands/Music GP or EP, wouldn’t that be the style they’d pick ? Like you’d expect grunge clothes in a Bands/Music DLC.
