which was in response to a thank-you for the specifically cultured content we just received. I can't imagine what you are trying to imply. (Well, actually, I can. and it's not very flattering.)
I read some posts with people wanting different cultural related items, so I posted items that I would like to see, and you completely turned it into something negative, as if you are trying to go out of your way just to try to create more arguments. If medieval and renaissance era style clothing upsets you, then you are clearly too stressed and should probably take a break from the forum for a while to cool down a bit. Again, I like the style of clothing and my post about wanting to see these items in a pack has nothing to do with your remarks.
Actually they aren't wrong. About medieval fashion: https://www.bustle.com/p/7-absurd-medieval-fashion-rules-that-you-wont-believe-women-actually-had-to-follow-53750 So the hijab really isn't the first time Gurus have allowed religious fashion into the franchise especially with regards to women. I mean there was an entire Sims game called the Sims Medieval and Simmers were fine with that.
I never said anyone was right or wrong. I said that I am interested in the style of clothing, and that's all that my post stated (referring back to my original post). I am not interested in all of this religion culture drama that has been popping up as of recently. As I have already said my opinion on it a couple of times now. I am totally fine with EA bringing in religious or cultural related content, and if they are bringing it in that I would like to see a variety of it so that everyone can represent themselves. Again, going back to my original post. It has nothing to with religion or culture, I just like the style of the clothes, I always have, and I would personally like to see it in the game. As I have seen others here share what they would like to see, I wanted to share what I would like to see as well. That's all there is to it.
As far as fashion I like the look of the hijab as unpopular as it is in this thread. I like Sims having options to wear head coverings like the Caribbean patch had too. So yes considering Sims have had Victorian content and Medieval content in the past and present I don't mind the hijab. Pretty sure that Get Famous came with quite a bit of Medieval content. I wouldn't mind something new to the Sims 4 like Vikings or Australian or South American. Some head coverings from India would be nice too. At this rate we could have a headwear from around the world Stuff Pack because I know numbers wise headwear, glasses, jewelry, and makeup have a far lower ratio than clothing options. I would love Sims to have those colorful British hats too that I see with the royal weddings.
And that's awesome. I think bringing in a variety of different clothing from various cultures and various religions would open up a window for others to get into the Sims, but I would like to see more so that more people have the opportunity to represent themselves. I like dressing my sims up based on what I like, and that's why I would like to see a pack with medieval and renaissance like clothing. In matter of fact, I am paying a subscription right now to creators who create cosplay items for TS4. They offer a lot of fantasy/medievalish clothing, a lot of good stuff. But yeah, I think the inclusion of various clothing from different cultures is cool.
