Is anyone else interested in bringing back the Private School from TS2 and trying to impress the Headmaster? And what would you like to add with the experience, i.e. custom uniforms, school profession?

I loved the headmaster scenario! It was always fun trying to impress him. Although I'd love it if they could add more dimensions to it, and maybe it's not just a single private school. We could have multiple schools like in TS3 Generations, with varying levels of selectivity with enrollment. And maybe some of them are boarding schools, while others are just regular. Public schools could have a general curriculum and a weak skill gain, while some other private schools could focus on a certain area.

Absolutely. I miss the Headmaster visits. I think it would be cool to have that and the private school/boarding school situation that we had in S3, except there should be an option to send your child to private school and keep them at home, or send them off to boarding school.

Yes. I'd more different types of school in general (public, private, boarding) to make it more interesting and give more variety for kids and teens going to school.

Yes please! More gameplay options for child/teens are always welcome. I would like school uniforms and other extracurricular activities too, such as music and ballet classes. Perhaps parents/caregivers could be called in or visited by their child's teacher if they show a particular talent they want to encourage, or they are struggling or misbehaving at school? I would also love a home school option.

As someone who went to private school their entire life, yes yes yes! Not a fan of boarding school as the others mentioned (though I didn't play TS2 or 3). I know there was another thread that talked about how University dorms might be similar to City Living apartments and after recently getting that pack and being severely disappointed in the building with it, I'm very wary of dorms/boarding school because I love building. I would really love to use Zurbo's Go to School mod but it's sooooo buggy and I don't want to crash my game again. I hope Maxis comes out with a Go to School pack that includes University and Elementary/High School. As for private school: here are some things I think would make it more real:1)Definitely uniforms. Skirts knee length and if they're shorter have dress code violations (blue slips). If guys have hair that is too long, also get a demerit. Basically have a standard uniform like for an career and then give the kid the option to "Untuck shirt" or "Skip haircut" or "wear a shorter skirt" or "Wear sneakers instead of loafers" or "Color hair unnatural color" or "Wear jeans instead of khakis" or "Wear unapproved shirt/hoodie/sweater" (Yes at private school these were valid dresscode violations).2)Demerits (pink slips) for doing things like wandering the halls during class, not finishing your homework, bullying, etc.3)After school detention where the kids have to write lines for an hour and come home with an angry, tense, or bored moodlet.4)Some romance interactions for kids, like holding hands, teasing about cooties, pulling hair, kissing cheeks, passing notes, and other innocent stuff because I want demerits given out for romance interactions. I know at my school girls and boys couldn't be within a Bible's length of each other. (And then they had to change that to boys and boys and girls and girls when some drama went down that shocked the faculty... but I digress.) I wasn't even allowed to hold hands or hug anyone when I got to high school. It was very very strict.5)Options for girls only and boys only schools.6)After school sports practices and band practice and clubs. I know Seasons has scouts and Get Famous has the drama club but there should also be chess club, honor society (NHS anyone?), Key Club, Band (like garage band) and orchestra, Science Club, JROTC, Spanish Club, Movie Club. I know Get Together has the club function which I love but I feel that's more geared towards adults and I'd like to have the option to "Send Alone" and then have the kid stay after school for an hour in their club that would give a moodlet like "Happy from club meeting." With "Join" the kid will go through school and then have the option to "Stay late for Club Meeting" and then have a one goal event that is something like spend 30 min-one hour playing chess or watching a movie or discussing honors, etc. Similarly for sports or orchestra they should spend 30 min-hour playing an instrument or practicing dribbling.7)Electives. Instead of after school clubs maybe these can be electives. Like drama class, PE for sports, Recess, Home Ec, Art, Finance (Yes, I took a class on how to invest and do my taxes in high school)8)Tuition. I want parents to pay tuition like they pay rent in City Living. The better the school, the higher the tuition.9)School Rivalries. This was mentioned above but this was a big part of my private school life. There's always dingy schools and top tier schools. The top tier schools have stricter dress codes, more electives, sports teams that win more, environment with more decorations, higher tuition. And I want moodlets like "Sad from losing sports game to rival school" or "Happy from winning Championship game" or outside of school if they run into someone from a rival school, "Tense from bickering with rival" or "Happy from overcoming differences."10) I also want parental options like "Visit school" or "Call Headmaster" or "Encourage child to take Finance elective" and moodlets like "Happy from sending child to good school." or "Tense from paying expensive tuition-like what are they even learning there?" My parents most certainly bickered about the price of tuition. Alot. I kept waiting to be sent to public school but it never happened.

Yes! Loved it in TS2. I have a mod for private school now for TS4, but if it were officially in the game there is potential for doing a lot with it.

This would be an interesting concept to add and if you fail to pay your child(ren) will be disenrolled.

Oh gosh the uniforms! I’d also love if they’d get picked up in a nice car like in TS3 when the bus would come rather than just essentially disapparating at the end of the property line.

Yep, it's fun to impress the headmaster and an added challenge. And it works well for rich Sims.
