Playing Sims 2 again now and yes - miss those details in Sims 4. In Sims 2 - they actually open a drawer to take out a mixing spoon - they actually open the dresser to change clothes. They actually all sit at a table to eat! They actually face each other when they talk! The romance options in Sims 2 are so much better too - don't even think Sims 4 sims even actually touch lips when they kiss and they look like two hamsters nibbling each other! Love how they cuddle and murmur to each other in bed in Sims 2 - so sweet! Also forgot how much I love being able to put a fishing pond on my sims lot and all the terrain changes I can do. And I miss the kids stuff so much - all the ways they can play. Seriously missed really good snowball fights and water balloon fights - those are so lame in Sims 4. Also love in Sims 2 how sims actually stay angry at each other (red rage on the sim in the panel) for quite some time and they will come kick your trash over and you end up with cockroaches or steal our newspaper (another thing I miss - the newspaper). Also love burglars and firefighters in Sim 2 - Sims 4 is still so lacking and likely always will be :(
