@Oldeseadogge Totally agree! IMO Sims 2 conveyed emotions much better than Sims 4 does with an emotion system! You always understood what they were feeling/experiencing - not just random buffs getting rolled for no reason.
Other details I love that I forgot - how they slowly lower themselves in the tub in case the water is hot and how you can give babies sink baths. And yes - I love the fixer upper car and all the animations with it. The list of awesome little details in Sims 2 is endless really!
Sims 2 is just plain funnier too - I was laughing so hard tonight while playing when sims were falling asleep in their food and the slap fests that happen when someone cheats on their significant other and gets caught.
And I get a kick out of how the sims give us looks and rant at us - like when making shy sims do things they do not want to do or making slob sims clean. And they also let us know when what we made them do made them happy - like making a sim that has sports as their main hobby play basketball. Their personalities just really shine through.
And I love the memories -was playing the Goths and could see in their thought bubbles that they were having memories about Bella :(
